My PoKeMoN Notes
1. Start Raising Pokemon at their very lowest levels. EX: A Pidgey raised from level two will have stats stronger than any legendary type.
2. Catching wild Pokemon is easiest when they've been hit with screech or flash a lot, and they're asleep or frozen.
3. My favorite line-up is fire, water or ice, grass, electric, psychic, and one other type.
4. Teach Pokemon moves that they wouldn't normally learn. EX: Giving a fire type Dig will give them an advantage over other fire types.
5. Power-ups like Protein and Iron are the best. Use lots of em'.
6. On average, the first attack you do will cause the most damage. Choose that attack wisely and follow up with a defensive move.
7. Defensive moves like Leer and Growl are fine for raising or training Pokemon, but in serious battles Pokemon have should have superior defensive techniques. EX: I like my Pokemon to know Acid Armor, Rest, Double Team, and my favorite Substitute. |
Side NotesThe Pokemon, Katsumi: The name Katsumi is actually a play on Misty's original Japanese name "Kasumi". Magik: Magik's look is based on a witch's cat with his circular brimmed hat and semi-pointed top.
Magik was also the dog's name on the Old Navy commercials. Nina's Pokemon Names: Nina's Katsumi, Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon's names all have a singular origin. Each has the name of one of the "Four Sisters" from Sailor Moon.
Jolteon: Prisma was the weilder of electricity. Flareon: Katsy was the weilder of fire. Vaporeon: Birdy was the weilder of ice. Katsumi: Avery was the last name left so it seemed only fitting to give it to Katsumi.
